For the church office

Church office software: lists you can trust

One record per person, linked to their family and group. You import the sheets you already have and stop reconciling different versions of the same list.

Fictitious demo data

The church office week without the right tools

Familiar to anyone who looks after the lists.

Before With loose spreadsheets
  • Every leader has their own sheet, and the address goes stale on the others
  • Contacts stay on the phone of whoever leaves the team
  • Requests arrive by message and on paper
  • With no consents recorded, nobody knows who can receive what
Afterwards In Brado
  • One record per person, linked to their family
  • You import the sheets and the church has its contacts
  • Tasks share the work across the team
  • The record logs consents and lets you export or anonymise
What the church office has to hand

Records, import, lists and privacy

One record per person, linked to the rest

It brings together contacts, family, group, skills, consents and notes. Brado spots similar records and lets you merge them. Anyone who asks to register is approved by the team, and anyone who needs to correct their details uses a link you sent them.

Bring the sheets you already have

You import people, groups, donations and attendance from Excel or CSV, up to 20,000 rows at a time, and you can undo within 24 hours if something goes wrong. On the Grow plan, assisted import also accepts exports from other church software.

Before Sheets and chats
  • Excel list (version 7)
  • 38 unread messages
  • Who’s on the rota?
Afterwards Brado
  • One record per person
  • Rota confirmed
  • Automatic notice

Lists come out ready

Birthdays, ages, newcomers, attendance, absentees, geographic spread and access. Tasks share the work across the team.

A person’s data can be exported or deleted on request

You export, anonymise and set how long data is kept. Members can also ask for deletion through the app. Data in the European Union.

A Sunday with Brado, from the church office

  1. Saturday

    Birthdays and newcomers

You open this week’s lists. They are up to date because every leader records in the same place.

  2. Sunday, at the door

    “I’m new” form

Each response creates a person and a task.

  3. Sunday, after the service

    Visitor records

You complete the records and link each visitor to their family or group.

  4. Monday

    Tasks closed

You close the week’s pending tasks and issue a course’s certificates.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can we import the lists we keep in Excel?

Yes. You import people, groups, donations and attendance from Excel or CSV, up to 20,000 rows per import, and you can undo within 24 hours. The Grow plan has assisted import, including from Planning Center, ChurchTools, ChMeetings, ChurchCRM and Breeze. We set it up with you so the columns land in the right place.

Does the whole team see the full member list?

That depends on the role. Each person gets permissions by area and by action, and the church office sees what it needs for the job. Pastoral data stays restricted to those with access.

How do I handle a request to delete someone’s data?

On the person’s record you can export their data or anonymise it, and retention is configurable. Members can also ask for deletion through the app. Where the law requires records to be kept, ask your accountant or a lawyer.

Is anyone who doesn’t use the app left off the lists?

No. People who don’t use the app still appear in lists and reports and still receive email. The app is optional, and the dashboard lets the church office keep everything up to date.

Can we issue course certificates?

Yes. Courses have classes, registrations and attendance, and they issue certificates with public verification by QR code. Whoever receives a certificate can show it, and anyone can confirm it on the verification page. It’s meant for organising the courses the church runs.
