Children’s ministry software: every child handed over safely
Check-in records arrival, shows allergies to the room team and hands the child only to an authorised guardian, with a pick-up code. Parents can relax and the team has the record.
The questions of whoever runs a children’s room
Safety starts with simple questions, and the answer has to be to hand on Sunday.
-
“What if the wrong child is collected?”
The pick-up code releases the child only to an authorised guardian.
-
Allergies are on a sheet
In Brado they show up in front of the name, in the room view.
-
Who is in the room?
Brado shows the status of each qualification.
-
Children’s data on loose sheets
In Brado it has restricted access, by role.
A Sunday with Brado, from the children’s ministry’s side
- Before the service
The room opens
The coordinator confirms that the volunteers’ child safety training is valid.
- At the entrance
Check-in and code
The guardian checks in and Brado issues a pick-up code. Labels print from the browser: the child’s and the guardian’s, with the same code. The allergy shows in front of the name.
- During the service
The room view
The team sees who is present, with allergies and notes, and logs incidents if there are any.
- At pick-up
Code and exceptions
The guardian shows the code. If it’s someone else, the exception is logged with the reason and who approved it.
One pick-up code, one authorised guardian
Each child is linked to their authorised guardians. At pick-up, the code confirms identity and Brado logs the time. If someone different comes, the exception requires a reason and the name of whoever approved it.
- Pick-up code for each child
- Exceptions logged with reason and approver
- A record of arrivals and departures that cannot be altered
Allergies, labels and a team with training up to date
Allergies and notes in the room view, an incident log and labels you design and print from the browser on an ordinary printer. A tablet at the entrance can serve as a full-screen check-in station, without signing in, and the guardian can check in by QR code.
Qualifications have the status “valid”, “expiring” or “missing”, before you put anyone on the rota. The background check is recorded manually.
Parents can relax and the team has the record.

Frequently asked questions
Who can collect the child?
Only an authorised guardian on the child’s record, with the pick-up code. If someone else comes, the team logs the exception with the reason and the name of whoever approved it. It all stays in the pick-up record.
Can the arrivals and departures record be deleted?
No. The children’s ministry record of arrivals and departures can be neither altered nor deleted by the team. It serves as proof of who dropped off, who collected and at what time, including exceptions.
Do I need a special printer for the labels?
No. Labels print from the browser, on an ordinary printer connected to the welcome desk computer. You don’t need to buy any equipment to get started. The pick-up code is what helps get the child to the right person.
Who sees children’s data?
Only people with permission in children’s ministry, because each person sees what their role allows. Children’s data has restricted access, and administrators sign in with two-step verification. The data stays in the European Union.
Which plan includes children’s ministry?
Children’s check-in is part of the Grow plan (€29 a month) and the plans above it. The price doesn’t depend on the number of rooms. We show you the whole flow in the demo, with a sample room.
