Songbook and chord charts for worship teams

Lyrics and chords on the same screen, in the key and capo each musician needs. Songs are linked to the service and the rota, so the whole team reads the same version.

From rehearsal to stage

The song follows the same path as the team

Five steps, all in one place.

  1. Song

    Write the chart once

Lyrics and chords go in ChordPro, with the chords in square brackets before the syllable. You also store the original key, the church’s key and the tempo.

  2. Arrangement

    An arrangement for every occasion

You give it a name, such as “Sunday” or “Acoustic”, and set the key, capo, time signature and structure. One of the arrangements is the default.

  3. Service

It goes into the order of service

When you build the order of service, you choose the arrangement and the key for that Sunday. The service key doesn’t change the stored song.

  4. Team

The rostered team opens it on their phones

Anyone rostered to serve reads the songbook in the app. Each musician adjusts the key and capo on their own screen.

  5. Stage

    Stage mode

The chart goes full screen, in a dark theme, and the screen stays on while you play, if the device allows it.

Arrangements for each service

The same song, several arrangements, each with its own structure

An arrangement stores the key, capo, tempo, time signature and order of sections, for example V1, C, V2, C, B, C. Notes for the team stay on the arrangement, where the players can see them.

  • The structure sets the order in which the chart is shown.
  • For the service you choose the arrangement and, if needed, a different key for that Sunday.
  • PDF, image or MP3 up to 25 MB as a song attachment, through a temporary link.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which chart format can I use?

ChordPro. You write the chords in square brackets before the syllable and mark the verse and chorus sections. The preview shows how the chart will look before you save it.

If a musician changes the key, does it change the song?

No. The key and capo you choose on screen apply only to whoever is reading. What stays stored is the arrangement, which leadership defines.

Will the screen turn off while I play?

In stage mode, Brado asks the device to keep the screen on. It depends on whether the phone or tablet allows it.

Can members see the lyrics?

Only if you open the songbook to members. You can also show the lyrics, without chords, on the church’s public website. Both options are off until you turn them on.

Can I record copyright and a CCLI number?

Yes. Each song has fields for the CCLI number, which is optional, and for copyright. Brado records what you enter and does not handle licences.

Which plan includes it?

The songbook is part of rotas, included from the Grow plan. Grow costs €29 a month for up to 250 people, with no charge per musician.
